I’ve been looking forward to seeing the new Kohl’s Rock & Republic line in person and last Friday night I got my chance. I attended the Kohl’s Rock & Republic runway debut at the Hammerstein Ballroom, where I spotted celebs like Ed Westwick, Molly Sims, Ashlee Simpson, Penn Badgley and Zoe Saldana, along with fellow fashion bloggers and editors. After mingling (and celebrity watching), at a pre-event cocktail reception, we headed into the ballroom for the show. From the first look, I knew I was going to love this entire line. It was filled with everyday pieces for both women and men. There were jeans, of course, but also a mix of casual-chic dresses, tops, sweaters, jackets and pants, and shoes. The two-toned studded platform shoes were my favorite piece (I’m an accessory addict, after all), but I could easily see a few other items I’d like to buy. Namely the logo print tee, the colored denim, that ruched turquoise dress and those white cropped skinny jeans. They look like perfect pieces for Spring.
