In case you haven’t heard, snakes are the new black. Everything ‘snake’ is fair game; from the literal – python handbags and snakeskin shoes and boots; to the figurative – snake-cutout dresses, snake-printed tights, and snake-themed jewelry – and all of it is slithering its way into designer collections. One ‘snake’ piece to watch (and cop) is the flat snake necklace. It looks much like the ‘herringbone’ chain that was popular in my heyday, and is now making a comeback.
