Summer is my favorite time of year because I absolutely love the warm weather. The only downside is the effect heat and humidity has on my hair, especially at the end of summer. I’ve found some great products that are good for your hair and will help you keep it healthy in the heat.
I’ve always liked Pantene because their products always leave my hair soft and smelling wonderful. I was excited to try a sample of Pantene’s Pro-V Silky Moisture Whip Hair Moisturizer + Styler, which I’ve been using daily and it has been leaving my hair soft, shiny, and frizz-free. It is also non-greasy. Moisture Whip looks like whipped cream coming out of the aerosol bottle and you just smooth it onto your damp hair and comb through before styling as usual. It will keep your hair moisturized for 48 hours and protects hair from heat damage. You can find Pantene’s Silky Moisture Whip at Walgreen’s, Drugstore.com or Target.com.
At the International Beauty Show back in April, I was introduced to Arthur Harris’ Pure Essentials Collection of hair care. I bought some of the Pure Essentials Styling Gel and have been enjoying it a lot. It is eco-friendly and alcohol-free with an emphasis on botanical and organic ingredients and is intended for all hair types. I love how it gives my hair a gentle and soft hold without any stickiness. For more information on the Pure Essentials Collection or to order products, visit Salon Red & Spa located at 222 Newbury Street, Boston MA or call them at 671-267-1800.
When I want to smooth and straighten my hair, I reach for my Chi flat iron. I recently purchased one of their new neon color irons, and it has added a fun pop of color to my hair routine. The Chi Ultra Chi has one inch tourmaline plates that add moisture and shine to your hair. This iron will leave your hair silky smooth and straight while eliminating frizz and static. Ulta has a wonderful sale on Chi products right now.
Which of these products will you try to keep your hair shiny and beautiful in the summer heat and humidity?
