Shopping with ‘social currency’ – sounds crazy, right? But it’s happening!
This week, one of our fave designers and social media savvy brands, Marc Jacobs, is hosting a Pop-Up Tweet Shop during New York Fashion Week. The shop appears to be offering the ‘fresh and feminine’ Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume in exchange for Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram posts with the hashtag #MJDAISYCHAIN. Plus there will be artwork by Langley Fox, complimentary beverages by Blue Stone Lane Coffee, manicures and music sets by D.J. Jilly Hendrix. Product in exchange for socially sharing stuff you love anyway? Sounds like a win-win!
