What She Wore: Beyonce in a Rubin Singer black lace, iguana and python bodysuit at the 2013 Super Bowl

So the lights went out at the Super Bowl last night. And the 49ers almost made a comeback. And the Ravens won. Blah, blah, blah. All we really cared about was Beyonce‘s halftime show and of course, what she was wearing. The singer, no – SUPERSTAR – performed a set of her classic hits like “Crazy In Love” and “Baby Boy,” with signature wild dance moves and an appearance by Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams for a quick Destiny’s Child reunion (in what was last week’s worst-kept secret). Beyonce, Kelly, Michelle and all 120 backup dancers wore leather get-ups by Rubin Singer and Proenza Schouler Lace-up ankle boots. Beyonce wore a custom-made cropped leather moto jacket and black bodysuit with lace, iguana and python strips, which took 14 people and five fittings to get right. The designer said the New York Times that the look was inspired by a Valkyrie.
