Haute or Not: Givenchy’s Wool ‘Cat’ Hat

Last year crazy animal hats were all the rage. Cute as it was, thankfully (and hopefully) that particular trend is over, but still designers can’t resist being inspired by four-legged furry friends. For Givenchy, Riccardo Tisci has already brought us animal fashion in the form of a Rottweiler (as seen on Kanye West and Liv Tyler), and now Tisci’s bringing us the Givenchy Wool ‘Cat’ Hat – as seen on the runway, it’s the newest twist on the animal trend. It’s basically your average wool baseball cap featuring miniature ‘cat’ ears, and said to be loosely inspired by a black panther. It’s certainly not something you’d rock every day, but it’s a cute head accessory for weekend wear, right?
