Back in March we shared with you the details on Macy’s Impulse capsule series, with legendary designers Kinder Aggugini, Matthew Williamson and Karl Lagerfeld. Well two of the sketches from the “Karl Lagerfeld for Impulse Only at Macy’s” collection are now available and we can get a sneak peek at what to put on our shopping lists this Fall! The limited-edition collection launches on August 31 at 235 Macy’s stores and macys.com. It will feature women’s apparel with Lagerfeld’s signature sophisticated and elegant touch.
The collection incorporates a mix of dresses (including a tuxedo-style option), boho-chic tops, rock-‘n-roll style T-shirts, leggings, crocodile print jackets and his signature high-collared neckline which can be seen throughout. The color palette ranges from hot pink to jet black with prices starting at $50 up to $170.
Karl Lagerfeld explained the reason behind the collaboration with Macy’s: “To me Macy’s is the perfect department store in the US where everybody can find what they’re looking for without ruining their budget. That’s why I am happy to make this limited collection just for Macy’s.”
