Leave it to the master of women’s footwear to create such a height-defying shoe. Christian Louboutin designed and created this pair of crystal-covered nude ballet flats complete with an eight inch stiletto heel! And a red sole, of course. They’ll be auctioned off for the English National Ballet (alongside other ballet-inspired designer creations from Giles Deacon, Erdem, Moschino and Julien Macdonald). Feel free to bid on them but we wouldn’t recommend trying to wear them unless you’re an actual ballerina who’s mastered walking/dancing en pointe, or on your toes. Literally.
