Exclusive photos: First look at Google’s new Android 2.1 phone
December 17, 2009 by Ehmonie Hainey
We just got our hands on the new Google phone and we’ve got the photos to prove it! It’s a huge step up from the first Google Android phone that we reviewed a year ago when it first launched. The new phone, tentativley called the Nexus One (according to Engadget) is smoother, sleeker and much sexier than the first iteration! The new phone is quite iPhone-like, with it’s slim casing, touch-screen and on-screen keyboard. (There is no actual keyboard like on the current G1 phone). The applications are launched with a swipe of the finger over the on-screen grid. It’s totally cool, and exclusive to T-Mobile. Check it out and let us know what you think!
