So it was only natural that Jimmy Choo<\/a>, maker of luxury shoes and handbags, would eventually venture into the fragrance territory.<\/p>\n

Jimmy Choo’s first-ever fragrance<\/strong> debuts as the company celebrates its 15th anniversary. Tamara Mellon<\/strong>, Founder & Chief Creative Officer of Jimmy Choo, appears in the glamorous ad campaign for the fragrance, wearing a rose colored snake print dress, clutching the bottle in her hand, and wearing Jimmy Choo heels, naturally. She said: “Fragrance has always been part of my vision for Jimmy Choo. To fully extend the Jimmy Choo lifestyle, enveloping a woman with the sensuality and essence of the brand. I have always loved wearing perfume; it is part of my identity. Now to create a signature fragrance for Jimmy Choo expressing an aura of strength and beauty is my ultimate dream.”<\/p>\n

The scent is described as “femininity, luxury, and style…bottled.” It is fruity, warm and woodsy, with green top notes, creamy heart notes of exotic Tiger Orchid, and base notes of sweet Toffee with Indonesian patchouli.<\/p>\n

The bottle looks as beautiful as the fragrance smells, with its inspiration coming from opulent jewel-colored Venetian Murano glass and topped with a mod\u00a0silver-edged black cube. Influenced by Tamara’s love of antique and modern objects, the amber bottle is a faceted, cocoon shape which is decidedly feminine, and evocative of the many jewel-encrusted Jimmy Choo stilettos seen over the years. Mellon<\/a> commented: “It was very important for me to create a beautiful and precious bottle which is an object of desire that women will want to keep forever. I love the way the light and subtlety of color is reflected through the facets.” And the outer ‘snakeskin’ packaging was inspired by a python skin shoe in the current Jimmy Choo collection<\/a>\"icon\". This fragrance looks luxe, inside and out!<\/p>\n
