I’m kicking off this week with a versatile piece that can take you to work or off to run errands on the weekend. I’m talking about the trench dress! I picked up this khaki version from White House Black Market a while ago, and I’m just starting to realize how versatile it is. Of course it can be worn as the dress that it is, but also a vest, both belted and unbelted for different looks. Plus, you can layer shirts or blouses underneath it or throw on a contrasting blazer to take the look up a notch.

I first wore it as a dress a few months ago while it was still warm out, so I paired it a snake print bag and simple black heels, for a work-friendly look. More recently, I dressed it down, wearing it as a vest over a hi lo blouse and ripped jeans. I added this fun text bag from Zara and a pop of metallic with these silver loafers, that I got for a steal (under $20!!), also from Zara.
