That line is from one of my favorite songs, “Keep on Moving,”<\/em> by Soul II Soul. I recently heard it on the radio and remembered why I always loved it when it first came out. It’s such a beautiful, inspirational song! Even though it appears to be about relationships, the message can be applied to every area of life.

When life gets tough, and things get dark, we are always told that “there’s a light at the end of the tunnel.” That trials don’t last forever. This past year, I’ve faced a lot of tough times, trials, and testing of my faith. Ironically, that’s the meaning of my name, so I pretty much have a daily reminder to keep the faith! But all the sayings are true. After the darkness comes the light. And after the rain comes the rainbows, and out comes the sun. I know these all sound clich\u00e9, but they are the truth, and can be a source of inspiration and encouragement to someone going through a trial at the moment. And like the song says, you just have to “keep on moving, don’t stop.” If you keep going THROUGH the dark times, you’ll get TO the other side, the brightness, the light, the sunshine!

As part of Rent the Runway<\/a> PRO, I got the opportunity to rent a birthday dress for free! (Well, any dress under $50). I love a bright dress in the summertime, and I couldn’t resist this yellow hued frock. The color is an instant pick-me-up!
