\nThe cork platform wedge sandal is the ‘It’ shoe for summer, and luckily there’s an option for every wallet! Of course Christian Louboutin seemed to launch the trend, beautifully, with the\u00a0Christian Louboutin Super Dombasie Patent Leather & Cork Platform Sandals<\/a>\"icon\" ($595). The shoes features patent leather, a thin ankle strap and a\u00a06 1\/3″ heel, though the platform is about half of the height, so it feels like your average 3″ high shoe.<\/p>\n

If $595 is too pricey for you, try the similarly designed\u00a0bebe Leah Cork Wedge Sandal<\/a>, ($85.99). These cork wedge peep toe heels feature a patent leather upper, also with a skinny ankle strap, accented with a removable gingham-print flower. These shoes are slightly lower, with a 5.5″ heel and 1.5″ platform.<\/p>\n

Finally, there’s the\u00a0Steve Madden Shazzam Platform<\/a> ($158). This shoe is more over-the-top than the others, and perfect for a party! It features a\u00a0synthetic sole with a\u00a06.5″ heel and a platform height of 2.75″. The top features natural-hued leather and a\u00a0gold glitter-covered\u00a0platform.<\/p>\n

So who did it better? The Christian Louboutin ‘Super Dombasle’<\/strong>, the bebe ‘Leah’ cork wedge<\/strong> or the Steve Madden ‘Shazam’<\/strong>?<\/p>\n
