What’s Haute was on the scene at the Under Armour UA HOVR House kick off event in Washington, D.C. The private party and weekend opening were the last U.S. stop of the tour, coinciding with the Cherry Blossom 10-Mile Run over the weekend.
The main focus of the event, of course, was the new UA HOVR smart sneakers, including the HOVR Sonic and HOVR Phantom – shoes with ‘next generation cushioning platforms‘ and connected technology that incorporate UA’s Record Sensor to connect with the MapMyRun app.
The immersive evening also featured graffiti artists customizing Under Armour kicks and creating ‘cheer cards’, shoe stations and treadmills to try on and test out the new sneakers, an interactive consumer created mural, and a trampoline that doubled as a photobooth (wearing UA HOVR sneakers was required), plus cocktails and passed hors d’oeuvres.
And the fun night was capped off with a live performance by Ro James!
Thanks, Under Armour, for a fun, immersive evening!
