Be careful what you wish for….

It’s one of those phrases everyone is quick to say, but it’s so true, and my life is living proof of it. When I think back on where I was and what I was doing a year ago, and where I am and what I’m doing now, I’m so thankful and blessed. But I’m also overwhelmed. I don’t have everything I asked for, but I have a lot of it, and it’s been all-engulfing and exhausting. With so much work and various engagements and commitments, I don’t have a lot of spare time, so efficiency is my BFF right now.

SHOP MY LOOK:

When it comes to getting dressed, basic pieces with a few key accessories has been my go-to lately. I’ve been living in Topshop jeans – I have a few pairs and they each fit like a dream! These stepped hem ones are my faves because a) you can’t go wrong with black, stretchy denim, b) they’re high-waist (a ‘win’ for my curves), and c) the raw, bi-level hem is perfectly edgy.
Another recent fave is this Gucci belt. I know you’ve seen it everywhere (and on everyone), and for good reason. It’s been the best new accessory of the season! There’s something about the classic GG logo getting revamped for 2017 that I just love. Plus, it adds a quick and easy luxe touch to simple jeans and a top. After all, I don’t have a lot of time – I need my fashion to be fast!
