If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I’ve been trying out a number of different hair care products, courtesy of some of my favorite brands – thanks, OGX and Strivectin! Now, I’m adding another great brand to my hair care collection: L’Oréal® Paris EverCurl.

I had my last relaxer in Fall 2014, and I’ve been transitioning back to my natural hair since then. I didn’t do the big chop and I still heat treat my hair on a daily basis, so I’m always looking for products to help protect my hair. I received a complimentary sample of L’Oréal® Paris EverCurl Hydracharge Shampoo, EverCurl Hydracharge Conditioner, plus EverCurl Sculpt & Hold Cream – Gel. I haven’t yet used the gel, but I did try the shampoo and conditioner, and I was in love!

Both contain coconut oil and other natural botanicals, which “gently cleanses and quenches for softer, manageable, hydrated curls and healthy shine.” The frizz-free formula is also sulfate-free, and has no parabens, or harsh salts that typically strip your hair, leaving it dull and damaged. The shampoo completely cleansed my hair while moisturizing it. And the conditioner nourished my tresses. Once I styled my hair, it felt so soft and looked bouncy and healthy.

At some point, I need to (and will!) start embracing my natural curls. And when I finally do, I’ll be using these three products. This particular hair formula is said to be especially gentle, and offering 48 hours of well-defined, frizz-free curls! What naturalista wouldn’t want that?!
