Shopping My Closet + TEN Shopping Event

I love shopping my closet- I always seem to find an unworn gem or two in there. Recently I cam across this M Missoni dress I bought on super sale at Loehman’s when the store was going out of business. I’m a sucker for minidresses and anything adorned with bows, so this piece was a must-buy for me. The color and print actually made it difficult for me to pair up, so when in doubt, I always go with black. I paired it with a black blouse and this sleeveless vest I got from a TEN Shopping Event I attended a few months ago.

In addition to shopping my closet, you know I also love shopping, in general. I don’t need an excuse to go shopping, so when I was personally invited by the founder to come to her next shopping event in Annapolis, MD, I immediately said yes. Kesha launched TEN shopping events years ago, which are all about chic, affordable style. When I got to the beautiful, black and white decorated space, it was filled to the brim with haute fashion and accessories. My kinda place! The space was cozy and intimate, so it felt like I was pretty much like shopping my closet! As a thank you for coming, I was gifted a $25 TEN gift card and was assured that the $25 would go a long way in purchasing several items, and it did! I actually scored three great pieces for around $25 – one of which was this sleeveless duster. I also picked up a dress and shirt which I’ll be showcasing soon. It was such a fun event – I can’t wait to pick up some new pieces at the next one!
