Beyonce has proven over and over again that she is all about her business. She’s cornered the music market with her albums, concerts, and Superbowl performances, and has launched clothing lines, perfumes, and exclusive fashion collaborations. Her newest venture, Ivy Park athleisure wear, taps into the $100 billion athleisure and activewear market. The collection/partnership with Topshop launched today, at Nordstrom, Topshop and Zalando stores and online, and is full of branded tanks, tees, sports bras, leggings, jogger pants, and the like.
The ad campaign features Beyonce, of course, in various stages of working out, giving us the false hope that if we too wear these outfits, we’ll look like her. Even though we’ve all heard that “you have as many hours in the day as Beyonce” quote, no matter how many hours we work out in Ivy Park athleisure wear, none of us are going to look like her. Sorry. LOL. Anyway, Beyonce-envy aside, Ivy Park is a simple but cute collection. And it’s pretty reasonably-priced, with most items under $100, and the most expensive item (a Biker Colorblock Full Length Bodysuit) topping out at $265.
