Hello, February!
It’s the month of love, so I’ll be featuring several pretty, (sometimes sparkly), love-worthy looks this month, like this one. I actually wore this last month but am just getting around to posting it. Like many young girls, I took ballet classes growing up and dreamed of becoming a prima ballerina. Of course, we can’t all grow up to be Misty Copeland, but we CAN steal her on-stage style, at least! Tulle skirts are the best way to incorporate ballerina dreams into your personal style! And paired with pretty much anything, they make the perfect Valentine’s Day date look. I paired this pink tulle skirt with a sequin dress that I purchased for New Year’s Eve 2014 but the dress was way too short on its own. So I wore it with this skirt, making it a great party or date outfit. But really, you don’t have to wait for a special occasion to rock a tulle skirt – you can wear one on a regular day, with the right top and the right attitude! Sure, you’ll draw stares but it’s worth it!
