Merry (belated) Christmas!

I hope you all enjoyed your Christmas Day! I spent the day with my family and my husband’s family, while coming down with an awful cold that left me bedridden for pretty much the entire weekend! Seriously, I was horribly sick – coughing, chills, congestion and all those other fun cold symptoms. But I was happy to spend some time with family (even if that meant being cocooned in a blanket and sneezing all over the place).

Anyway, here’s another holiday look that I wanted to share with you. Red may be the color of the season but metallics also look and feel very festive. This gold flared dress is a versatile, multipurpose frock that makes a great Christmas Day dress, holiday party look, New Year’s Eve outfit, etc. I paired it with a gold and black blazer but this is the type of dress that can be dressed up or down, paired with a blouse underneath for day wear, or a leather jacket for a girly/edgy nighttime look.
