The Balmain x H&M Collection images (and prices – under $20 to over $500) have leaked, and it looks to be one of the most high-end H&M collaborations so far. The collection looks amazing but it’s not going to be everyone’s style. If you’re familiar with Balmain and Creative Director Olivier Rousteing, then you already know his designs include plenty of structured blazers with thickly padded shoulders, heavily beaded minidresses and embellished denim. The Kardashian/Jenner girls, Beyonce and Rihanna are huge fans, so that gives you an indication of the Balmain girl. The Balmain x H&M collection is very “rockstar meets runway.” It’s heavy on the beading, metallics, rope details and leather. Standout pieces include a green and black faux fur jacket, several brightly colored metallic dresses, and a red and black men’s leather jacket giving me Michael Jackson “Thriller” vibes.
