It’s 2015 and I’m working with Walgreens to achieve my goals for the New Year!
With each New Year comes those inevitable New Year’s resolutions. And with New Year’s resolutions comes good intentions. But I know from personal experience that as the year goes on, those resolutions get lost in the shuffle. Over and over again I would kick off the New Year with several resolutions that I planned to keep, but as time and everyday life settled in, I found them slowly slipping off of my radar. So over time I decided that rather than waiting until January 1 to make New Year’s resolutions, I would start making life changes BEFORE the New Year.
Last year I started incorporating things into my life – choices and decisions – that became my routine and habits, rather than resolutions that wouldn’t last more than a month or two. Some of those things included traveling more and reaching out to friends on a more regular basis. Also, I began eating healthier, exercising on a more frequent and consistent basis, and taking better care of my skin, hair and smile.
Walgreens is a great place to start, whether you’re trying to keep track of your New Year’s resolutions, or simply continue to achieve goals you’ve already set! Last year I gave up smoking and lost 75 pounds by changing my diet and exercising, I got into the best shape of my life and was proud and happy with my body, but then my health went downhill and I got depressed and started comfort eating and stopped exercising, I ended up gaining over 20 pounds back and my resolution this year is to try and lose that weight and get back to feeling healthy.
