There are many designers that we regularly feature that are already household names, but we also have love for the up and coming designers whose work is just as haute! A recent haute designer find is Marina Hoermanseder, who creates amazing avant garde looks, mostly out of leather. The Viennese fashion designer, who has worked at Alexander McQueen, loves to mix vegetable-tanned, hand-lacquered leathers and other fabrics to create unconventional pieces, inspired by everything from 18th century orthopedic corsets to fetish elements. Here pieces incorporate belts and buckles, with interesting twists and details to create sleek, attention-grabbing pieces. Plus, she’s dressed edgy celebs like FKA twigs and fellow Philly girl, Eve, so we love her even more!
