Just in time for the return of Scandal (Season 4 starts September 25, 2014, 9|8 CT on ABC!!) comes the highly anticipated launch of the The Limited Scandal Collection! The line, which we told you about a few months ago, was created jointly by Scandal star, actress Kerry Washington, the show’s costume designer, Lyn Paolo, and Elliot Staples, head of design at The Limited. The trio worked together to create each piece, to “create possibilities for ladies who lead.” Lyn Paolo commented: “From the fabrics to buttons, to cuts, to closures – we made sure every detail was perfect for our Gladiators.”

The collection includes pretty much everything Olivia Pope would wear. It’s full of drape wrap coats, double breasted jackets and blazers, plaid capes, and cape trenches. There’s also officer’s pencil skirts, sheath dresses, wide leg and flare leg trousers, and silk blouses and shells begging to be layered. And there’s plenty of white, of course! The collection is heavy on work wear (virtually every piece is office-appropriate). But in case you feel like lounging at home with your red wine and popcorn, there’s a draped front open cardigan for that, too! So very Olivia Pope-style!
