I was beyond thrilled when Magic Sleek asked me to be a hair model at the New York International Beauty Show in March. The previous year I had been introduced to this amazing hair smoothing and straightening and it changed my life! I arrived to the Magic Sleek booth on Day 1 of the show, which was super-charged with energy, good music, and people buzzing about this amazing hair straightening system. Olga, the owner of Magic Sleek, had her team start the process on my hair.

Step 1 of Magic Sleek consisted of washing my hair three times with their Anti-Residue Shampoo. This removed any oils and residue from my hair and prepared it for Step 2. After washing, my hair was dried thoroughly.

Step 2: Bonder Solution was applied to my dry hair and left on for up to 45 minutes. The Bonder was sprayed on and combed through my hair which was divided into four equal sections. This ensured all areas of my hair were saturated. After the 45 minutes was up, 20-80% of the Bonding Solution was rinsed off (depending on how porous the hair is). After rinsing, my hair was completely dried, then divided into sections again and flat ironed on the highest setting for my hair type.

Next we were ready for Step 3 which was applying the Finisher. This seals in the straightening and after the finisher is rinsed out, conditioner was applied and also rinsed.

Once all three steps were completed, I couldn’t wait to see my new smooth and sleek hair. My hair was once again dried and the result was absolutely gorgeous, smooth, soft, frizz-free straight hair!

It has been a little more than two months since I’ve had the Magic Sleek process and my hair is still as smooth as the day it was done. I don’t need to use any styling products or heat tools. I use the Magic Sleek shampoo, conditioner, and serum and my hair is maintenance-free!
