It must be the season of designer collaborations. Hot on the heels of the news of Alexander Wang x H&M a few weeks ago and the launch of Banana Republic x Marimekko this morning, another haute designer collaboration was just announced: Altuzarra for Target! Headed by designer Joseph Altuzarra, who launched his namesake line in 2008, the brand’s designs feature influences from his multicultural background. He was born in Paris, raised by a Chinese-American mother and French father, attended college in Pennsylvania and started his design career in New York City.
The brand embodies the spirit of “French sophistication and American ease,” and this collaboration with Target will feature Altuzarra’s iconic silhouettes with designs created just for Target. The almost 50 piece collection includes everything from apparel to lingerie (from $17.99 to $89.99), to shoes and accessories ($29.99 to $79.99).
Altuzarra for Target will be available starting September 14 at Target stores in the United States and Canada, on target.com. A selection of merchandise will also be sold on Net-a-Porter.com.
