Do you change your fragrance every season? I tend to gravitate toward sweet, fruity scents, but during the winter I seem to prefer stronger, more woodsy scents. I’ve been trying some new scents that are perfect if you are looking for a new winter fragrance. I find that it lifts my mood to have on a really pretty scent.
Atelier Cologne is a fragrance house dedicated to creating cologne. Using citrus essences blended with the most precious raw materials in perfumery, they create balanced colognes with tremendous staying power. I have been wearing their Orange Sanguine cologne and it is such a beautiful and a perfect winter scent. It features a blend of energizing crushed ripe fruit, including sweet blood orange, bitter orange peel paired with sensual notes of geranium, with base notes of tonka beans, sandalwood, and cedarward complemented by heart notes of geranium, jasmine, and black pepper. Top notes of blood orange, bitter orange, and red mandarin give that burst of citrus that I absolutely love! If you are not familiar with Atelier Cologne fragrances, give them a try. You can order samples of the various colognes or buy at Neiman Marcus, Beauty.com and Selfridges.
Also, if you are looking for a great new cologne for your husband or boyfriend, I love John Varvatos Artisan. This scent is a splash of invigorating citrus intertwined with modern woodsy notes. It smells fresh, clean, and intoxicating. It would make a wonderful gift for Father’s Day too. Available at Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, Dillards, ULTA Beauty, Walgreens and Beauty.com.
Both of these his and her winter fragrances are a great complement to one another and would be a great addition to your fragrance wardrobe.
