Do you mix prints? It’s a skill I’ve seen the folks at J. Crew execute perfectly in their catalogs, but often in real life, it falls flat. It’s not typically my style but I gave it a try recently when I attended a brunch one weekend. I paired this drop waist, star print dress from H&M with this squiggle print DvF coat I picked up last year at Century 21. Somehow the stars and squiggles seemed to work. I think the key to mixing prints is going with a complementary color scheme, though some people mix multiple colors and prints and it works well for them. What do you think?
