This weekend, Jennifer Hudson and Kim Kardashian unofficially ‘faced off’ in the same pewter-colored Donna Karan Draped Plunging-Neck Dress. But who wore it better?
Jennifer wore the draped gray DK frock to the premiere of her new film, “The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete” in Chicago on Oct. 11. She rocked the dress as shown on Neiman Marcus’ website, with just a hint of neckline and with strappy black sandals. She wore a gold nameplate necklace with the dress, which seemed like an odd pairing, but otherwise she looked simple and chic.
Kim, who has been proudly showing off her ‘ASSets’ as of late, unleashed her inner bombshell and wore the dress with the neckline draped open to display her cleavage. She was spotted in it while leaving her Dash boutique in Los Angeles. She paired the dress with a delicate gold necklace and taupe suede pumps, which, along with her blonde hair, kinda washed out the entire look, but she still looked beautiful.
The $1,895 long-sleeved jersey dress features a fitted silhouette, bias ruching across the hip area and an envelope-style skirt with a center slit. It’s made of a viscose and rayon/spandex blend, and also comes in an amethyst hue, along with the pewter version seen on Kim and Jennifer.
So who wore this Donna Karan Draped Plunging-Neck Dress best: Kim Kardashian or Jennifer Hudson?
