Haute and about: Wendy Williams’ “Ask Wendy” book launch party

Last night, the Pink Elephant Nightclub played host to Wendy Williams as she celebrated the launch of her latest book, “Ask Wendy,” and her upcoming debut as Matron Mama Morton in “Chicago” on Broadway. While press, friends and fans waited for the guest of honor to arrive, we were treated to the hottest beats, spun DJ KISS. Also, since Wendy’s got a major sweet tooth, there were treats of all kinds, courtesy of Sincerely Sweets, including a cupcake tower at the entry way plus a full dessert bar, complete with peanut butter cups, peppermint patties, chocolate covered almonds, cake pops, macarons, candy – and even more cupcakes!

Celebrity attendees piled into the club to celebrate with Wendy and hit the step and repeat looking haute! Just a few of the stylish celebs at the event included singer Melanie Fiona, “Good Day New York” co-hosts Greg Kelly and Rosanna Scotto, “Mob Wives” star Carla Facciolo, singer Chrisette Michelle, “Real Housewives of New York” star Heather Thomson, “Gossip Game” star Sharon Carpenter, “Love and Hip Hop – New York” stars Yandy Smith and Raqi Thunda. Several celebs skipped the step and repeat but showed up to support Wendy, like singer Estelle and rappers French Montana and Eve.

The ‘Queen of Media‘ arrived and the crowd went into a frenzy! She looked amazing in a black dress with a side slit and hot pink pointy toe pumps. After posing for pics, she headed into the club and thanked everyone for coming and encouraged everyone to party the night away!
