I’m always excited to hear about hi-low designer collaborations, because hey – who doesn’t love designer style for a steal? The latest collab I’m gawking over is Prabal Gurung‘s limited-edition collection for Target. (In case you didn’t already know, Gurung is a darling in the fashion design world. You’ve seen his flirty, feminine clothes on celebs like Zoe Saldana and he was a 2010 Ecco Domani Fashion Fund Award recipient.) I usually scan and report on every Target designer lookbook that comes my way (hey, it’s my job) and typically make mental notes about which pieces I want to buy. But in this collection, EVERY SINGLE PIECE is lustworthy. I seriously cannot narrow down my list to just a few items. It’s full of all things fun – bright, artistic floral prints, eye-popping colors (like sulfur/citron/neon yellow – my FAVE) and tons of colorblock options. Seriously – I now cannot wait for spring. Or, Feb. 10, when the collection launches.
Here’s more about the collaboration:
The Prabal Gurung for Target collection was inspired by a tender love story, offering women’s apparel and accessories suitable for all occasions from the initial crush, to the first kiss, to everlasting love. Ranging in price from $19.99 to $199.99 for apparel and $12.99 to $39.99 for accessories and shoes, Prabal Gurung for Target will be available Feb. 10, 2013 at all Target stores and Target.com.
