If you could imagine the perfect fusion of pop art, candy and footwear, you’d be imagining Sophia Webster‘s newly designed bags and shoes. The London-based accessory designer is a protégé of THE Nicholas Kirkwood. She was his design assistant and he and his business partner, Christopher Suarez, later helped her launch her Resort/Summer 2013 collection that, according to her, was inspired by “the traditional dress of the Hmong people, Yayoi Kusama and deconstructed Aztec prints, all with a tropical West Palm Beach feel“. So you already know you can expect a collection of amazingly colorful and fanciful accessories.
Her namesake line just launched exclusively online at Net-a-Porter.com where you can shop fun pieces from her label, like the ‘Yayoi patent-leather and suede sandals‘ and the ‘Hold Me Speech Bubble leather clutch‘ (pictured above). These pieces, like all the rest in her line, are effortless statement makers. And you should snap one up, like NOW!
