I always get complimented on my clear skin and asked what I use on my face. The truth is, very little. I thank genetics mostly for my complexion (thanks Mom and Dad!), but also drinking lots of water, a great facial cleanser and moisturizer, plus minimal makeup. But as I get older (eek – when did that happen?) I’ve been noticing some subtle changes – a few creases here and there. So it’s time to take preventive action (read:start using anti aging products)! In keeping with my “less-is-more” beauty strategy, I’m going to use Frownies pH Balancing Complexion Wash. Great for all types of skin, the Complexion Wash is a soap-free, concentrated, glycolic facial cleanser that has natural ingredients like lavender essential oil, soapwort and soap yucca to cleanse deeply without drying your skin. And it’s ok to use on your face as well as your neck and chest too.
I’m also trying Frownies Rose Water Hydrator and Corner of Eyes and Mouth Patch kits. The Hydrator is great for refreshing your skin throughout the day. You can use it under your makeup, or in my case, without it. It has antioxidants and moisturizes your skin to “plump fine lines and wrinkles” that come from it being dehydrated. The Corner of Eyes and Mouth Patch is also used to reduce wrinkles, and lessen the appearance of fine lines, like ‘Crows feet’ and ‘Marionette lines’. Since I’m starting to notice the (ever-so-slight) appearance of both, I think it’s time I give these Frownies products a try!
