Although I love to throw on a nice sundress on the weekends as my summer uniform, every now and then I like to go with a simple tank and skirt combo. It’s just as easy and just as chic! You’ll notice that I love colorblocking, especially pairing neutral tones with eye-popping color, like this yellow and grey combo I wore on Sunday while walking around Chelsea and the Meatpacking District by way of The Highline.
I’ve been planning to go to The Highline since it first opened and I finally visited. And I can’t believe it took me so long. That place is amazing! It’s a relaxing freight train track-turned-park above the craziness of Manhattan, complete with food, drinks, treats, ‘water fountains’ for your feet, a lawn to lounge on along with beach-style chairs. The views and atmosphere are great, so I think I’ll be going back every weekend for the rest of the summer!
