Last year I so badly wanted this Fire Ants maxi dress but by the time I discovered it, it was sold out! I loved the mixing of mint and coral colors, and of course the fire ants print was so much fun! A few months ago I was speeding by a row of stores while in a cab in China and spotted a similar dress in a store window. Mint green, with coral colored polka dots. I had to go back for it. But I had no idea what the name of the store was. On the last day of our trip, we had some free time before our flight, so, fingers crossed, I tried to retrace my ‘steps’ and actually found the store – and the dress! I grabbed it off the mannequin, paid for it and left, hoping it would fit. After a 14 hour flight back home, I tried it on and it did fit – perfectly. Fashion fate?
