You know when you spot that must-have dress and you have NO idea where you’re going to wear it but you’re still going to buy it anyway? That was exactly how I felt when I spotted this dress. I saw it in H&M and immediately fell in love with the Mary Katrantzou-style kaleidoscope/tropical print. That, plus the neoprene type of material, skater skirt and built-in bright belt, I was sold! The only problem was figuring out where to wear it. Last night I went to see Robin Thicke (sigh) in concert and decided it was the perfect time and place to rock the dress. Despite being an accessories girl, I loved that I didn’t need anything to pair with the dress – the print and cut of the dress let it stand on its own. I just threw on a pair of gold DvF sandals (seriously, these are the most comfortable heels I own) and was ready to go!
On a related note, it’s quite hard to contain yourself while watching Robin Thicke serenade you (ok, all the women in the audience) while your husband sits next to you shaking his head as you swoon. But I digress…
