I spend a lot of time browsing shopping sites, attending events to preview haute fashion & beauty products and I receive floods of email pitches in my inbox every day. Of course I see tons of stuff I like/love/want. But I have to separate what I do from how and when I shop. Otherwise it could be very detrimental to my wallet! But I do believe it is important to treat yourself every now and then. So I use general shopping advice – if I see something I like, I wait a few days or weeks to see if I’m still coveting it. Then I know it’s worth the buy.
Recently I was coveting these Bottega Veneta Three-tone patent & leather sandals. Badly! And while they were marked down 40% off the original price, I still couldn’t justify buying them. So I waited. And waited. And a few weeks later they were marked down 65% and I snagged the last pair in my size! I call them my ‘affordable little luxuries’ – a reasonably priced treat to myself!
So, tell me – how do you indulge yourself while saving money? Share in the comments below!
