So, these photos weren’t taken on my birthday, which is today, but rather on Sunday when my husband surprised me with a birthday picnic in Central Park! Secretly I had a feeling that’s what he was planning – I had no clues but we’ve been together for so long that we know each other and each other’s plans very well! So I dressed accordingly. An airy maxi dress was perfect for the day – it was sunny and hot out (but pleasant) and the cutout sides and back gave some nice added ventilation. And the material is soft and doesn’t wrinkle easy so it was perfect for laying out on a blanket on the Great Lawn. I wanted to pair it with heels but these leopard-print wedges were so comfortable so they won!
