I always seem to end up with dark shadows leftover when I finish with my eye shadow palettes. I often find them to be too dark for daytime and never use them up as quickly as I do my lighter shadows. So I was really excited to get my hands on Trish McEvoy Finish Line. It is a liquid that you can add to your powder eye shadow to transform it into liquid eyeliner. You can also use it to seal your eye shadow color. It is genius, and I am wondering why I hadn’t discovered this product sooner!
To use Finish Line, you just use the dropper to dispense a tiny drop of it into a corner of your eye shadow pan. Then, use your eyeliner brush (I recommend Trish McEvoy #11 Precise Eye Lining brush) to pick up some of the treated shadow, and apply it as eye liner. In a few minutes, the wet area will dry and your shadow will be back to its original state. I do recommend using the same corner of your eye shadow pan to ‘create’ liner, as over time the texture of the shadow can change slightly.
You can also mix Finish Line with your eye shadow or eyeliner to create staying power. Just mix a drop of product on your hand and blend with shadow before applying as usual. You can also sweep a light layer of Finish Line over your finished eye look to seal the color for longer wear.
This product is so versatile and will allow you to get the most use out of all those dark shadows you have that you don’t get to use that often. For only $24, one bottle will last you a long time. Grab a bottle at any Trish McEvoy counter, or online.
