Ouidad gives models “surfers-gone-wild” hair, backstage at Timo Weiland Spring 2012

For spring 2012, fashion house Timo Weiland took us on a trip to the beaches of Hawaii with Weiland and Alan Eckstein‘s surfer girl and guy inspired looks. “It’s Basquiat goes to Hawaii, goes surfing, and invites all his cool downtown city girls as guests,” Weiland said. Backstage, Ouidad created free-spirited, relaxed and natural hairstyles with a “surfers-gone-wild” look. Using the Ouidad Climate Control Heat & Humidity Gel, Tress Effects Styling Gel and PlayCurl Volumizing Foam, the team of hairstylists played up texture and created glamorous up ‘dos with lots of free, loose curls. The hairstylists also created loose and low, yet polished, twisted under ponytails, again using a bit of Ouidad Climate Control Heat & Humidity Gel, Tress Effects Styling Gel and Play Curl Volumizing Mousse. They finished some of the looks off with oversized, backwards baseball caps to add a sporty effect.
