I’m typically a matchy-matchy kinda girl – I pick a color scheme and stick with it. But for some reason I was drawn to pairing this chunky pastel beaded necklace with a taupe top. And I like to think it worked. The top is from Canadian label Covet, and is actually made out of soybean. Yes – SOYBEAN. I love that it looks unintentionally ripped – which got some strange looks from my hubby and friends but that’s just how fashion goes sometimes. Anyways, I got the necklace on sale last year from French Connection along with a matching bracelet that I refuse to wear together, despite my love for matchy-matchiness.
Enjoy…
What I wore: Sunglasses: Fendi, Top: Covet Soybean Cropped Sweater (via Beyond the Rack), Necklace: French Connection, Coated denim jeans: H&M, Wedge sandals: Sam Edelman, Watch: Fossil, Bag: Hayden Harnett

Ehmonie! I’m not sure which I love more – your necklace or those cute wedges! Your top looks super comfy and chic. I never would’ve guessed it was made from soybean!

I love the Fendi shades! After tryin’ to decide for the past couple of months whether or not to order them, I decided that I had to have them after seeing them on you! If they look anywhere as good on me as they do on you, then I’ve made the right decision.
