Get ready for Nine West Original Sneakers launching Spring 2012

It takes a lot (like, a village) to get us out of our heels and into a pair of sneakers (aside from working out, of course). Very few brands have been able to do so – Ash, Reebok and Puma to name a few. And now – Nine West. Nine West has been a mainstay in our closets since, like high school, and every season we add more of its shoes to our collection. Next Spring we’ll be able to add sneakers as well, since the company just entered into a licensing agreement with Philip Simon Brands Group Inc. to develop a line of fashionable sneakers. The collection will debut at FFANY this August and will officially launch in Spring 2012 at Nine West stores, department stores and specialty retailers. The 30-piece collection of Nine West Original Sneakers will range in price from $49 to $129 and will be diverse in terms of color, unique materials and shapes. We’re keeping a close eye on those gold python sneakers.

Also launching in 2012 is a Nine West fragrance and more launches in the Shoelaborations series (prior and current partnerships included Karen Elson, Giles Deacon and Sophie Theallet).
