Remember when J. Crew was all prepster-like? Well, not so much anymore. You’ll still find polos, cardigan sweaters, chinos and chambray shirts and the like, but with their recent collaborations, we’re seeing a side of J. Crew that we never saw before. And we like it. They partnered with CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Runner-Up Eddie Borgo to create a six-piece limited-edition, ‘punky-yet-polished’ jewelry collection, exclusive to J. Crew. The results are stunning. Think leather cuff and wrap bracelets and belts covered in pyramid, cone and pearl studs, metal fringed mesh necklaces, sweet studded leather bow pins, and a pearl necklace decorated with a bullet-like brass charm. Haute stuff.
