Charles Anastase reworked the 70’s-style platform heel for his 2009 runway show and sent fashion lovers searching for a reasonably priced (and wearable for everyday) alternative. And voila – both Jeffrey Campbell and Jessica Simpson came to the rescue! The Jessica Simpson Dany Platform Sandals are widely popular and cute to wear with wide-legged jeans, skirts, dresses, etc. The Dany sandal features a rounded peep toe, 2″ faux wood platform sole, T-strap, cupped heel and cushioned footbed with a 5″ wrapped heel. They’re a veritable 70’s inspired throwback made modern. The Jeffrey Campbell Foxy Shoe in Black Leather is almost identical – a chunky wood platform with a peep toe, leather T-strap wooden 2.5″ high platform and 5″ heel and a buckled ankle strap.
Who did the wood platform sandal better: Jeffrey Campbell or Jessica Simpson? Or do you prefer the original by Charles Anastase?

Jessica Simpson Danys by all means..the Jeffrey campbell heel/platform angle is awkward and not very pretty. plus its not high and sexy like the jessica simpsons.

Dany all the way – they are higher, sleeker and crazy comfortable! I live in mine!
