When MTV Style reported that LeAnn Rimes walked down the aisle last weekend in this crochet-knit, belly button-baring gown and matching crochet/fringed bag, we thought they were kidding. As it turns out, they were partly right. Rimes DID wear this gown/bag combo for part of her wedding to Eddie Cibrian; the reception part. And while we’re huge fans of Emilio Pucci and think the ‘gown’ would make a cute, beach coverup and the bag, perfect for carrying beach essentials, we can’t help but think this is a major fail for wedding attire.

Not a fail at all. I think that dress is amazing! Absolutely loved it – very boho chic. Because it was long it looks more elegant and it seems perfectly apropo to me for a laid-back beach reception. Not a major LeAnn fan but I think she hit the mark with this dress. I want it!
