\nLast October we told you about the Derek Lam + eBay crowdsourcing project<\/a>, where shoppers (you) could collectively vote for and pick from the Derek Lam<\/a> ready-to-wear collection, which would be available for purchase at a fixed, low price, exclusively on eBay during the Spring\/Summer 2011 season. Debuting next week (Feb. 16) on the runway and online<\/a>, is Lam’s exclusive eBay<\/strong> collection of 16 dresses, all original pieces, which include everything from classic shirtdresses to high-end gowns. The dresses were designed by Lam to represent styles he envisions for all women. Voting for the five winning dresses goes live at 10:45 A.M. EST\/ 7:45 A.M. PST on Feb. 16 and the final crowdsourced collection will be available for purchase in May, ranging in price from $125-$295, exclusively on eBay<\/a>.<\/p>\n
