\nHey hey, hauties! It’s been a minute, but life has been lifin’ and I’ve been caught up being fully OUTSIDE this summer. I love that this is the first summer in two years where we haven’t felt like we were on lockdown, and life has been feeling more back to normal. That said, these past two years have welcomed and encouraged comfort – in our homes, in our lives, and in what we’re wearing<\/a>. For example, I’ve been living in wearing either loungewear or jeans and sneakers. My heels have taken a backseat to more comfortable footwear, and I’m not sure I will ever go back. I love that some of the most popular shoes right now are Yeezy slides<\/a> and these inspired versions<\/a>. And of course, the popular Balenciaga sock sneakers<\/a> made triumphant return during the Covid years.

Over the past two years, I’ve personally spent a lot of time in comfy clothes. (RIP to my office wear.) For the summertime, I’ve extended those fashion choices. Jeans and sneakers, it is! Except for this season, jeans take the form of a denim mini dress. And the sneakers are not my everyday workout kind, but something a little more fashionable and sparkly. I recently purchased this Sleeveless Denim Shirt Dress<\/a> from H&M, and it has been one of my favorite summer buys. It’s a pretty sturdy denim dress, with a surprisingly sexy, curved silhouette and mini hemline, and it graced and embraced my curves, perfectly. I rocked it with a wide belt from Zara to further complement the cinched waist. And I also paired it these shoes I got recently as a birthday gift: MICHAEL Michael Kors Skyler Booties<\/a>. Let me tell you – this is the quickest, easiest, most stylish summer look! Put on a quick red lip to elevate it a notch. But it is the most equal-parts chic and comfortable version of jeans and sneakers you can wear.
