Hey! How are you doing? Every blog post this year feels like somewhat of a check in, right? We all wanna know how everyone is holding up and managing amid all that’s going on because this year, 2020, is one for the books. I’ve been trying to make the most of this pandemic summer by tackling what I call “pandemic projects” \u2014 things I’ve been wanting and planning to work on, but life. Now, most of life is on hold, so pandemic<\/a> projects it is! 2020 has been pretty terrible overall, but I’m taking advantage of the opportunity of free time to do some of the things I promised myself I’d do.<\/p>\n

\"Making<\/p>\n

Spending most of the day in the house can easily take a wrong turn, so I try to make every day feel like a ‘normal’ work day. I wake up, pray, shower, get dressed, do my hair and makeup, and start work. It helps keep me focused rather than settling into the comforts of home. I also gravitate to bright colors – a natural mood lifter. No point in wearing dreary colors during an already dreary year! Yellow has been a long time favorite and every time I spot a bright yellow dress\/pair of shoes\/handbag\/yoga mat\/accent chair, I have to have it. I found this dress earlier this year on super sale and I snagged it for summer – of course, not knowing the kind of summer we were about to enter into. But it’s a nice, stretchy, loungy dress \u2014 perfect for hiding a multitude of pandemic snack sins. And sneakers, because comfort.
