\nAre you a good sport? I try to be. I was raised to be kind, polite and considerate of other people’s feelings, and I’ve always tried to honor that. But it becomes quite the challenge when others don’t extend you the same courtesy, doesn’t it? Lately I’ve been dealing with a lot negativity from a bunch of different people. So much so that I have to bombard myself with positive messages and happy thoughts. But since we don’t live in a vacuum, and have to interact with other people (both positive and negative), what’s the best way to handle them – or difficult situations? It’s more in my nature to remain kind and be a good sport. I find that kindness can soften even the hardest of hearts. And being a good sport is just the right approach to every area of your life. We teach children to be a good sport when they participate on sports teams and in school events – so shouldn’t adults exemplify this behavior as well? So my advice to you is to remain a good sport, even if others aren’t ‘playing the game fairly.’ I’m a strong believer that good always wins in the end, and it’s better on your conscience, too! \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

\"What\u2019s<\/p>\n

Speaking of sports, every now and then, I like to ditch my dresses and skirts in favor of some fun pants. It\u2019s so rare for me to find pants that fit well, so when I do, naturally, they\u2019re a keeper! The athleisure trend has taken over the athletic world and every day fashion, too. I\u2019m loving the influx of sporty pants this season. Especially the ones that are wide-legged, to really give it a fashionable feel. I found this pair of wide leg track pants here<\/a>, but a ton of shops are making and selling them right now, at various price points. I particularly love the ones with a contrast stripe down the side \u2013 they kinda have a retro feel, throwing it back to those vintage Adidas suits LL Cool J used to rock. The great thing about this style is that you can go full on sporty, pairing the pants with sneakers and a coordinated athletic top. Or you can rock it with a bodysuit, moto jacket and heels, like I did. A little bit fashion, a little bit sport.<\/p>\n
