\nMy taste in fashion has changed over the years (as it should). In my twenties, I was more interested in fast fashion – I’d buy a new top or outfit just to wear to the club on a Friday night. I’d get a little more wear out of these party clothes but they weren’t sustainable. And my career as a scientist didn’t require any fancy clothes either – most of my co-workers came to the lab in jeans and a T-shirt. When I entered the corporate world in my thirties, that’s when I began to appreciate more classic clothes and investment pieces. Don’t get me wrong – I still occasionally like fast fashion items but I buy more\u00a0classic pieces now.<\/p>\n

I picked up this black and white striped blouse<\/a> a few months ago and it was well worth the $25 investment (it’s now on sale for $14.99). Like a fine wine, it pairs well with everything! Everything in my closet, that is.<\/em> I’ve worn it with mixed prints<\/a>, denim, skirts, dresses and pants. I’ve worn it to business meetings, church, on date night and running errands. It truly is one of those pieces that every woman needs in her closet!<\/p>\n

To give you an idea of how to rock it, I styled this blouse three ways:
